LH North Ltd. is an innovative heavy-civil construction company based in Northwestern Ontario specializing in building and designing world-class infrastructure such as bridges, roads, deep foundations and underground water networks. With over 17 years of experience, LH North continues to expand its fleet of cranes, heavy duty trucks, construction equipment and vehicles. LH North Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for Traffic Control personnel to join our team for the current construction season.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Under supervision of the site foreman, traffic control personnel are responsible for:
- Setting up and taking down traffic control signs and devices
- Directing traffic through construction zones
- Communicating and coordinating with other crew members
- Complying with all company safety policies, procedures and regulations
- Other construction related duties as required, including general labour
Qualifications
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License (preferred)
- Ability to travel to job site(s)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Punctual, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work outdoors in various conditions
- Traffic control and/or construction experience would be an asset
